"Of all the strange 'crimes' that human beings have legislated out of nothing, 'blasphemy' is the most amazing -- with 'obscenity' and 'indecent exposure' fighting it out for second and third place." -- Robert A. Heinlein in The Notebooks of Lazarus Long
This page is still very new and under construction.
But I will give it as auspicious a beginning as possible by including some pictures of my brewery!
I do the actual brewing and boiling outside on my back porch, but this is the room where fermentation,
storage, and serving takes place:
My fermentation, storage, and serving refrigerators.
The fridge on the left is my fermentation refrigerator, and serves as a lagering/storage fridge
when it's not hosting a fermentation. Note the Ranco temperature controller sitting on top. The
fridge on the right is my serving fridge. It contains whatever kegs I may be serving/carbonating,
and it also frequently keeps cold my bottled beer!
Inside the serving fridge.
As you can see, I only had two beers on tap when I took this photograph. There are also many
good and interesting commercial beers hanging out in there.
Various equipment on shelving.
In this photo you can see a lot of my brewing equipment put away neatly on some shelving units.
Notice the stout in secondary, the glassware on the shelving to the right, the decorations pasted
all over the walls, and the boiling kettle hiding on the lower right. I have to give a lot of credit
to my wife for making this room possible. The shelving (and a bit of the equipment) were gifts
from her for various events (birthday, Christmas, etc).
Several carts, books, and a few pieces of equipment.
In this photo you'll see several carts that my wife bought me as a gift, and I now use every brewing
session for various tasks. You'll also see my bottling tree to the right, several brewing books
hanging out on the walls, and the pegs that I hang my tubing on to dry after cleaining/sanitizing them. There's
also a carboy-brush hanging from the wall...
