Do not use Internet Explorer.

ZDNet has published an article detailing a new tactic in infecting computers on the internet.

All you have to do to get infected is to browse to an infected website. These flaws in Internet Explorer exist in the fully patched version, as well as previous versions, so even if you’re up to date there’s nothing you can really do to prevent this from happening.

Now is an excellent time to switch browsers. Here are a few good ones (in order of my regard for them):

If you don’t switch, you’re simply begging to be infected by a virus.
