I currently have a Scotch Ale brewing. I’m 34 minutes into the boil, and thought I’d go ahead and throw this post up here. It’s going to be a very heavy, malty ale. Not bitter at all, and full of calories. I’ll probably have to age it a couple of months before it’s drinkable.
This brew is notable only because 1) it’s the heaviest I’ve done so far. Predicted OG is 1.102, and 2) It’s the first brew I will have done primary fermentation in a glass carboy (6.5 gallon).
I’ll follow up with actual numbers as I get ’em.
